    new guy in St. Louis

I am a new guy building my first Hotrod. I have a 1994 LT1/4L60-E out of a Buick Roadmaster. I got the factory harnesses and the steering column also. This is my first EFI project. I am excited to get into EFI. I am currently locating the engine and tranny in a custom frame and building the engine and tranny mounts. It has been too cold here this past week to work in the garage. I dug out the engine harness and it is quite a rats nest. Definitely not cool for a 34 lowboy style coupe. So, I need to reroute a bunch of wires. I cant help but dream of performance improvements but I need to start at the beginning and get some good advise. I landed here by chance digging around for wiring schematics to try to figure out what wiring I do and don't need out of the harness. I don't know if I need smog but I prefer to leave it off and run headers and add the O2 sensors onto the header collectors. I would be most grateful for all the help I can get. Where do I start?
