Anyone know if the 1227747 uses different calpac's for v8's and V6's

Yes, there are different versions for six and eight cylinder engines. There may even be a four cylinder version but I've never followed up with that.

Thanks for reply, going to be using a 1227747 in a 1989 S10 Blazer 4.3, I have a calpac from a 5.7, did not know if they are interchangeable.
