Planning TBI swap on 455 Olds

Have a 76 GMC motorhome with 455. I'll be spending next week in somewhat warmer weather stripping the parts off my 454 donor suburban. Trying to decide if I should keep the stock ecm or go wth something newer like megasquirt. Lots of great info here, thanks for putting all this together!

Stock ECM for serviceability on trips. I would set it up to control the timing as well.
