    EBL P4 Flash Tuning a 92 Sonoma GT with a Turbo 4.3

I just recently bought Sonoma GT #3 and am in the process of upgrading the suspension with the newer S10 ZQ8 sport suspension to lower it 2" and upgrade the brakes to the 98+ Blazer 4 wheel disk brakes and an 8.5 rear axle with 3.73 and a true trac posi. Engine is getting 96+ vortec heads, vortec marine intake manifold, cam upgrade and the base CR will be about 9.1:1, so wont be running more than about 8-10 PSI at first thru a custom water/air intercooler.

I will also be swapping out my original CPI 4.3 engine harness and ECM for a Sy engine harness with the 7749 ECM and have ordered the EBL P4 Flash setup just waiting to get my ECM back from Dynamic EFI.

I pretty much have the engine build taken care of except or what size turbo to run and cam choice. I know alot of the SyTy guys run the comp 412 cam that is 260/266 adv dur and 206/210 dur@.050 with .500/.500 lift on a 112LSA. I have a 2200 stall converter, and with this truck being RWD i don't want full boost way down low cause it will just blow to tires off, looking more for a mid range screamer where i have half a chance to keep traction. My max RPM will be 5500 due to stock bottom end with cast pistons for now.

I was also looking at a few Lunati voodoo cams that are 262/270 adv dur 211/219 dur@.050 with .507/.515 lift on a 112LSA or the one im leaning towards is 270/278 adv dur 219/227 dur@.050 with .515/.530 lift on a 112LSA. I like the second one cause its very close to the GM LT4 Hot Cam, which Ive read is a decent cam to run with forced induction.

looking for some thoughts and advice. Thanks

I like the planning you have put into your Sonoma GT project.

Posting information about tuning the EBL P4 is a very challenging topic. Dynamic EFI clearly states "Do Not Post On Any Board" on all the software I've seen and used. Myself and other gearhead-efi.com members have, and will continue to honor Dynamic EFI's request on what is acceptable to post on a public forum.

Well i understand about the posting of tune files and bins, but the only bin dynamic has for me is a stock engine bin, and mine will be far from stock so im just looking for some better bins to start with.

Most of the EBL tunes I've worked on required modifications to the stock timing table. For example; I tuned a Vortec 350 engine using TBI fuel injection, with a Vortec 350 timing table, not the TBI table provide by EBL.

I guess that is the main thing that i need is the vortec head timing table so it gives me a place to start. Preferably a timing table setup for boost, and the rest of the info i can put in and go from there with the auto tune feature.

Where do i get the vortec V6 timing table?

One option for timing tables would be to download the demo version of EFI Live: http://www.efilive.com/latest/cat/download-efilive

and get the 4.3 files from tunefiledepot:http://www.tunefiledepot.com/index.p...Type=P&Stock=Y

Maybe you can copy / paste the timing tables to / from an Excel spreadsheet?
