    Pramming 26C256 Prog

    1. 1227727 - 1227730 have same Chip ?

I am restoring a '73 MGB swaping out the old 4 banger with a 2.8 V6 out of a Chevy S10. It had TBI injection which I want to change to MPFI from a Pontiac Firebird. I have all three ECM's and the wiring harness from the S10 and Firebird. I never did eprom programming and need help. I just purchased a SIVAVA PCB50B reader/programmer. I would like to be able to print out the program from the chip 27C256 in the 1227730 to establish the baseline for programming a new 27C256 chip for my reconfigured engine modification S10 2.8l V6 with a MPFI intake from the Firebird with a B&W 5 speed tranny. I understand I need some software programs from Tuner-Pro.
Does anyone have any experience with that?

    Thanks

The TunerPro files you would use are located here: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-6D

Thanks for the reply. I do know what to do - reading the chip etc. but I've never done that. Did you? If so, could we talk?

    Thanks

I have literally programmed hundreds of modified chips, both TBI and TPI.

Send me a private message (PM) for contact information.
