    Newbie from Houston tx

    Howdy everyone. i was referred to here from GMT400.com cause I'm looking for a way to get a chip and burn it for my 94 c1500 5.7l 350 ti. I'm looking forward to new knowledge and hopefully the ability to make my truck faster/efficient!

    yes sir sorry i should have mentioned it! I have tbi ultimate mods mild engine cam freshly built 4l60 transmission (8clutches 3-4 sunshellbeast corvette servo widerbands shiftkit new pump ) freeflow exhaust cat back thats all so far i will put headers on next moth and go full custom exhaust with trual dual pipes and 2 trush mufflers

    Have you been able to come up to speed with TurnerPro RT and been able save a data log?

    Honestly i dont know where to start with the shole proces nor i know what parts i need if anyone could help me understand the whole thing i would appreciate! I would love to get the process down right and enjoy chip burning for my truck

    I was not suggesting you burn your own chips.

    I was wondering if you were up to speed with TunerPro RT, which is the first step to getting your project running to its fullest potential.

    You can download TunerPro RT here: http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadApp.htm

    The necessary files to get TunerPro RT working are here: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-0D

    You will need a USB ALDL cable to connect the laptop to diagnostic port of your pickup.

    Its an Internet myth: A chip programmer only needs to know your engine specs and engine modifications to burn a "tuned chip".

    Check out youtube for TunerPro RT tutorials.

    Thanks a million Dave! I will get that goin asap! Oh anothe question you guys still sell the cable here on the forum? I seen the thread about the cable yall had for $45
