    Angry Tuning 1228746 ECM (89 Camaro)

    Hi im a little confused about this ECM??

    In Tuner Pro are diferent masks available, i try all them out, best i think was 61v3.xdf?
    when i use 61V2.xdf and compare with the original bin (ANTT) there is Distributor Base Timing set to 11.25
    if i open the same Parameter with 61V3 the same Parameter is set to 2512.0????
    Factory base Timing labeld in the Hood of the camaro is 0°BTC?

    Any body out ther who can help me?

    im also searching for the Parameters that controll the Crap Smog Pump !! In Austria its necessary to pass the Smog Tests

    I have put out the 305 TBI and hoked up a 98 350 Vortec with TBI Intake and a mild Cam
    Ve and Sparc Tables are adapted from an Vortec Engine, Iddle is incrteased to 700RPM


    if anybody has done equal works like that, im open for good Idears

    Hello.

    I am not familiar with those XDF's but it sounds like the formula in V3 is incorrect. You can compare the formula with another definition, say $42. If the sticker underhood instructs you to jumper the ALDL connector to set timing it will probably call for a different angle then the distributor angle in the calibration. Jumpering the ALDL will force timing to a fixed angle determined by the ecm programming.

    Thanks for Information, but for Factory set is only Required to Disconect EST Module, then set to 0°BTC.

    I Plan to set Timing 8° BTC becouse in my Spark Tabel is Max Advanced to 42° so with The Resistance of the wire maybe is Possible
    that Distributor Fires next Cylinder...

    Any Idear where i can find Smog Pump Parameters in Mask 61v3 ?

    I have some More questions,

    The Decel enlean MAP and RPM Tresholds, what is their use?

    When Enigine in Iddle Rise over 1000 RPM O2 goes lean,
    MAP Threshold is set to 25.11 kpa
    RPM Threshold is set to 1000 RPM

    Ouer Smog test rule is 1 Test at Idle Lambda, Co, HC
    and one Test Increased idle (2500) RPM Lambda, Co, HC

    with this settings i cant pass...
