HI I HAVE JUST FINISHED A 1995 K2500 STANDARD CAB 4X4 6.5 DIESEL TO 5.7 TBI ENGINE SWAP.I HAD A 1995 K2500 XTRA CAB DONOR TRUCK THAT HAD 4L60E TRANSMISSION.I KEPT THE 4L80E TRANSMISSION AND PURCHASED NEW TORQUE CONVERTER AND TRUCK RUNS GREAT EXCEPT FOR SEEMS LIKE I HAVE NO FOURTH GEAR RUNS AT 3500RPM AT 55 TO 60 MPH I HAVE BOUGHT A MOATES BURN 2 AND NOT SURE WHAT I CAN DO ALSO HAVE ALL THE DIESEL ENGINE PARTS EXCEPT HEADS IM LOOKING TO SELL OR TRADE FOR A NICE TRANSMISSION CONTROLLER

Sounds like an interesting swap. My experience with that vintage truck is that many of the components on diesel trucks aren't shared with gas jobs so I'll bet it was quite a bit of work. Did you change the wiring and the chip to match the 4L80E? What is the four letter code on the chip you're using now? Do you have Tunerpro set up to view and log the ALDL data from the pcm?
