1994 C2500 383

Hello to all,

My name is Erik. I just installed a crate 383 into my 1994 C2500 extended cab pickup. I've been working on tuning the new motor using Tunerpro and Moates Autoprom. I've managed to get it running and driving and have taken a few small steps to tune but I still have a long way to go.

I'll start a new thread in the GM section with all the details and share some datalogs to see where I need more help.

Looking forward to tapping the knowledge of this forum.

Welcome!!!

I have been working with a 383 in my '90 K2500. The Blueprint crate engine came with a new prom to get it running with the stock 350 TBI, but I felt it could be improved upon. So far I have changed out the stock 55# injectors for 80# ones, EP381 fuel pump and 18 psi fuel pressure, removed the EGR, and tuned the fuel and spark tables. Next change will be a complete big block TB but I have to find one and have the intake bored out to 2".
