    trans trouble

hi I have a 1996 2.2 s10 sometimes when it shifts from 2 to 3 gear it spins out like it is in neutral, let of the gas bang like you droped the clutch on a std shift. it don't do this all the time it shifts normal then some times it shifts but really hard. trans has got about 55000 on a 1300 dollar rebuild. its just this 2 to 3td I am having trouble with. any ideas? done a data log today it spun out when it caught I thought it busted the trans it caught so hard and I was off the gas pedal. finnaly got it to throw a code po 756? changed the a and b shift seleniods fixed it. trans only has 50,000 miles on it sense a total 1300 dollar rebuild that is with me changing the trans.

Swap out the 2-4 servo for the corvette one. I have cleared up many a 2-3 flare. The reason for this is that the servo also acts as the accumulator for the 2-3 shift. The harsh shift you experience may be due to the pcm picking up the flare as an incorrect gear ration(slip) and commands "max" line pressure. If you were in Oklahoma I'd say stop by the shop but you're a bit too far south. :-)
