    new release:

    http://fbodytech.com/files/eehack-3.0.zip

    3.0:
** "More awesome than DataMaster_EE in every way unless you have a 4L60E"(tm)
** Add 4 line graphing.... whaaat!! (Actually wasn't that hard)
** Increase accuracy of RPM in tests and analyzer (use RPM16 everywhere)
Add reset BLM and clear DTC functions
    Make some things more visible
All records are now timestamp sequential, even when loading multiple logs.
Misc. bug fixes, more analyzer tuning

    new version:

    http://fbodytech.com/files/eehack-3.4.zip

hilights include stability fixes, better flash read, V6 support (hope to bring a larger audience..), VIN setting (set your vin to HORSEPOWERS if you want!), and more accurate temperature conversion.

flash write is also done !!!!! but needs testing so i wont enable it yet, please contact me if you have a socketed or throwaway ECM.

    3.4:
** Preliminary V6 support! (Seperate binary..)
    ** Program VIN/Cal ID EEPROM
** READ bin fixes, incl. datastream stability pre-inspection, and autoconnect
    ** Fullscreen programming status
** More accurate temperature readings (use lookup table instead of linear calc)
** Flash Write almost ready, contact me to test it! (Don't blame me if it bricks your ECM...)
Autoload VIN/Cal ID Number on connect
Way faster BLM cell memory retrieval
No more 'skip ram' option... just skip ram. But include internal EEPROM...
Optionally disable the datastream while connected and just keep alive instead
Make more room in interface for more stuff
Fix bugs in custom command fields, increase length to theoretical maximum
Add button to clear the custom command log
Improve what happens when you disconnect and lots of stuff is enabled
Improve reaction to large amounts of connection errors
    Improve M4 cancellation on disconnect
Remove redundant panic button (just disconnect instead, alt-enter.)
    Remove useless CORRCL monitor
Resume normal comms on disconnect (adhere to aldl standards)

    Steveo,
Thanks for the great work. EEhack is getting better and better with every new release.
I will test the write flash as soon as I fix my eeprom willem programmer.
It does not get vpp voltage and I am still trying to fix it. Any input on flashing 28f512 with willem are welcomed.

a lot of the functionality is based on information from you, looking forward to getting the V6 version working better with your help too.

requesting a slight edit on my name... close, but not quite.

also, I forgot to grab the libraries first and it took a few DLLs before realizing that, but this looks damn promising.... I might be able to get a few more people into playing with their 94-95 3100 W/L/N-bodies if they're able to play with their calibrations for basically the cost of an ALDL cable.

haha oops ill fix your name in the next version

so you think V6 guys will like this thing? i don't have a v6 ecm or any datasheets, so any data you can give me on how their mode4 stuff works, or any bugs i've made in the datastream conversions, let me know. many features are simply greyed out but obviously plan to add them as information comes my way..

was thinking about making an installer, but i really like having the libraries seperate, since they're huge and my program is small.

i think the big thing missing for deployment right now is update notification, since i make changes, bug fixes, and new features all the time, somehow i think people aren't going to check back for new versions frequently without being poked a bit...

robert, as you're big into V6 stuff, could you please provide me a spec on how mode 4 works on these v6 ecms? i can't seem to find a good one.

as well as any other tidbits you think might be useful?

does it use 19 blm cells? are they stored at a consistent memory location?

also if someone has a spare ecm they could donate to me to accelerate development, i know this forum doesn't have a lot of V6 guys, where's a good community to get my foot in the door?

I can probably find another unit here soon, I have another one that will control a 4l60E.

I just bought the winflash software and have been using it, but am keen to give this a try once it is a little further along on the v6 side of things.

flash write might be slow to get going on the v6 side but i will get it working eventally..flash read is already kinda working, i did that as a special project for kur4o, it reads a lot of unneccessary regions, and saves it as an lt1-like bin.

i suppose any would do, i never really plan any transmission functions; i'd just plug it into a bench testing setup.

i really dont know a lot about the v6 ecms, i'd learn if there was one in front of me, but better yet i should buy a car with one, that'd get it going.

Steve, you use IDA? I can upload both halves of my disassembly, be easier to explain things that way. my P66 V6 ADX has some mode4 stuff in it already but I have more defined in the disassemblies than what I have in the ADX.

stuff I can answer off-hand: the T-side does primary communications, mode4 stuff is passed to E-side over SPI. E-side mode4 bytes are 360-366, T-side mode4 bytes are 34A-355. I've got a decent amount of both decoded.

BLM cells are located from 100-142 on E-side(an odd byte exists between the cell groupings, it might be an idle only cell?). 100-10F are Right/Rear O2 sensor with CCP active BLM cells(1-16), 111-120 is " .... " with no CCP, 122-131 is Left/Front O2 sensor with CCP active, 133-142 is " ...... " with no CCP.

i've run into this before but i have IDA v6.5 and when i try to load your disassemblies, it tries to upgrade the version of the database, then says 'database corrupt' and bails. never could figure out why
