What is your altitude. I ask because there is alot of baro correction to fuel tables and they might skew your tune at lower altitudes.
If you want to run an open loop at idle, you can try my patch.
    I'm at ~2700MSL, so that's a typical baro here.
Same elevation at our local 1320, Firebird Raceway in Emmett ID. 15.3ET, 94mph on a warm night in the high desert, with the new cam, not bad for a big girl with 98K on the clock.
Same patch as in EEHack to lock BLM at idle PE?

Ah, I get it, thank you Steveo. I'm indeed using the dandy BLM locker.
So then, I'm gonna load that sucker back in and go on blissfully with surge-free idle life.

I was glad to learn by brave experimentation that the PE AFR Corr by RPM table allows a number less than 1.0 (Equivalence ratio) without exploding, so that when combined with my generous PE by ECT table entries I can get ~14:1 at idle PE when the ECT is around the 92-104C cells (14.7/(1.102+0.941-1)). While the engine is warming up, the resulting commanded AFR is numerically seemingly a little fat due to higher EQs for lower ECTs, but it does not chuggle or anything so I'm leaving the PE by ECT alone.

Very much appreciate being able to tap you guys who live and breathe and dream in this stuff. I'll look fwd to gaining a 10th of that knowledge.
    Thank you!

Here's what my PE tables look like for my version of PE at Idle. I'm open to suggestions if this seems odd, but it did run very well, much smoother than CL + all sorts of attenuation of things like CORRCL Airflow % and O2 mV error and base idle RPM increases.

NOT bad considering weight and altitude.
I will be glad to see some logs at that baro.
If you go lower altitudes make some logs to see if your tune is off the chart and how good is PCM at correction.

You can find the patch in the xdf posted in this thread
    http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...E-xdf-(EEXTRA)

It has "cell 16 duplicate" in the name.

I've found a little bug that causes the EEHack to crash.

When you go to any "user parameters" selection window, type a name that is not on the list and press ENTER, the program crashes. Not a big issue anyway.

It also crashes when you press ok and no parameter is selected.

I`ve done some correction to the patch eehack applies. It corrects some minor stuff on eside mode 1 and adds maf to sd switching based on byte 2028 arbitary,
so it applies proper patch based on selected mode in the bin.
I might add some hidden patches for advanced users. Their application will be based on some switches in the bin.

My ultimate goal is to make an idle cylinder fuel correction patch. What I am missing is the control interface at the mode4 control window.
If you can help with the interface it will be done really fast, since I have some ideas how to do it.

what do you want the interface to look like? a toggle checkbox to turn it on, and maybe a field for each cylinder with a +/- button?

tell me what bytes you want it to modify and i'll try to make it happen

byte 2 bit 7 will "set" TRIM correction.
byte 9 will be selected cylinder for correction. It will be the same format as cylinder drop stream. 000-111 or 0 to 7
byte 11 bit 6 will be global enable or it will switch from ram to bin table.
    UPDATE
byte 8 will be new cylinder TRIM value in absolute format $80=0 correction
idle rpm , linepress and egr correction should be greyed out.

They might get some correction but the format will be the same.
Here is how it should work to get some idea.
On eside cylinder idle correction table will be copied to ram. The global enable will switch between ram and bin table.

When you press set button you will enable correction to ram table. Than you need to press the cylinder number which will be corrected. it will be one cylinder at a time correction

It will be great if each cylinder number button has separate display window which will be populated on start up from the table in bin. Than you make correction from two +- buttons, from that value. Since the value will be stored to ram it must be remembered in eehack when you switch from cylinder to cylinder correction.

So it should look like 1 set button, 1 global enable button, 8 cylinder number select buttons, 8 display windows or 1 big display window, 2 +- buttons.
The display can have raw hex values or steps. 1 step will be $01 in hex correction.Converted to decimal will take too much space.

I played with the source code and managed to clone cylinder drop interface but is far from ready. I will try to give you some visual perspective so you don`t make any guess work.

What will be nice addition is two buttons MAF and SD. Arbitary selection which one will be grey, based on maf/sd settings in bin.
