Saves as a Text documet not ADS file, what did I do wrong??

Ok so I am trying to download the 8B.ads from tunerpro site and it will only allow text document save, am I doing something wrong or is there a conversion thing somewhere

Right click on the link and Save As. Ads files are text and the browser just displays them instead of prompting to save.

There is a "save link as" but no "save as" will that b the same??
it still will not load....it says "parser does not support UTF-8 language encodings" in a adx load failure window

I use Firefox in linux and when I right click it says "save link as" I click OK and it downloads. Are you using Tunerpro V5? If so, and the file is an .ads file, you will have to import it as an .adx file. Click Acquisition, and import definition -> From ADS. Browse to the ads file you downloaded and click open. Then Acquisition, save definition as and type 8b.adx then save. .ads extension is the older datastream definition format. You have to convert it to an ADX file first

Yep that's what I did....even tried it with a $0d, 427 ecm still not working. I'll start a new thread if I can't find a new tutorial I haven't seen.
