    Commanded idle speed

I have my idle in p/n and d set at 650 and when I am stopped it shows 650 in the commanded idle box also. As soon as I go the commanded idle jumps to 688. It has done this forever and I never could figure out what exactly caused it. I am guessing it is something to do with throttle follower. Any ideas?

there is likely an offset being used for "vehicle in motion" that is added to commanded idle speed. I'm not familiar enough with the TBI masks to be certain. I know there are more than a few masks that add raw IAC steps instead of commanding a higher idle speed.... they both accomplish the same task and roughly the same way of going about it as well.
