    Radom PCM issue?

Had an issue this morning. Was at a bin site down the road. Started my 94 Chevy PU, drove about 50ft, it died. Crank on it nothing. Had a nice little 1 mile walk home. Went back, could pour a little gas into the throttle body and it would fire. Towed it home, got it into the shop. Had already noticed the check engine light was not blinking at key on. Tried to hook up laptop with Tunerpro, and no connection. Pulled glove box out, unplugged and plugged PCM back in. Turned the key, check engine light worked as it should. PU fired right up.
PCM is a 16197427. Using a Moates Ostrich.
Not sure if I trust it right now....
Any thoughts anyone? I hate random things.

not too unusual, when PCMs start failing intermittently like that, keeping a spare on-hand isn't a bad idea. it could be as simple as just a loose terminal in the PCM connector though.
