I am seeking someone to repair and tweak, for performance characteristics, an electronic spark control module, pt.# 16197427, that has over a period of 20 yrs. and some 240,000 miles, become a) non-functioning (no power to the coil), and b) less in oem form than I would want for a motor that has been rebuilt by a racing machine shop, and heavily breathed upon. (details to follow later to the interested party)
The little bit of reading that I have done on your forum has shown me that this component must have been "loosing it's mind" for a while as I have been getting all kind of error codes that didn't make sense, the most persistent one being "knock sensor" and both of those have been recently replaced. I think it's something less than I want, but I'll go with it, until I can work out the details.
