Empty the fuel tank, change the fuel filter and fill with new gas. Believe me, 1 year old gas will not start a car.
I have had the same issue with engine swaps where you get good fuel pressure at the rail, spark at the plugs but the engine will just not start. I have found the rails full with a yellow liquid. As soon as I empty the rails and lines and fill them with new gas it starts right away.
Also the injectors can stick closed. Pull them and take them to be ultrasonic cleaned, the best money you will ever spend.
