    BLM too low

    hello everyone,

i'm new to tuning have no clue where to start but do have the equipment to burn and erase chips.

i have been having a problem with my truck running too rich,

what i have is a 89 s10 4X4 with a 88 5.7 running headers, heated o2 sensor, 700r4 from a full size truck(speedo off a little).1227477 ECM with ARJT eprom that i burned today, was running eprom AMUR but ARJT seemed a better fit for what i have.

fuel pressure holds steady at 13 psi, just rebuilt TBI(new o-rings, gaskets, filter screens) doing a test run today everything seemed ok except for the BLM it stayed around 108 for most of the run.

i have attached my log from todays run.

    any advice would be appreciated

You might want to think about starting with the ASDU bin. It's the latest for a '7747/5.7/700r4 and seems to be held in good regard around here. Then just start your VE tuning.

how many times do you have to adjust the VE tables on average?

A bunch! Even if all is stock, lots of fine tweaking to truly tune to the motor.
All i did was port match, larger intake, higher ratio rockers and I'll probably run through 70+ burns to get it right.

just wondering because my first run through with VE changes i didn't notice a difference. good thing we burn our own chips or it could get really expensive.
