    7747 $42 1989 Chevy 4X4 need help tuning...FINALLY!

First I want to thank everyone here for being so helpful, and so sorry to hear EagleMark is no longer with us. Judging by his posts over the years, he was a tremendous guy and asset to this forum but it looks like there are many others that are stepping up in his absence.
I have been reading/studying posts here for about a month and am about to switch out my first reprogrammed prom.

I've got a 1989 K1500 350 (Transplant, new and balanced) 5 speed (M20), 4X4, 220 TBI (GT4: Rear Axle, 3.73 ratio), with some running issues (new distributor with pickup and module, all new sensors on engine including O2, EXCLUDING, TPS, IAC, MAP, ESC). The VIN indicates that at some point in its life it originally had a V6.

Got an 'ALDU1 and CABL1' from Moates to do some data logging so I can hopefully run down some afterfire/stumble issues. Got Burn2, chips and sockets to modify a second 7747 ECM that I have while running current ECM in the truck (just in case I screw the other one up) The fuel pump is pushing 13.5 psi both sides of the fuel filter. Hooked up the ALDL up and got a good connection, I am using EagleMark's ADX, XDF, and for comparison ASDX 88 C-K Truck 5.7TBI 5 speed manual bin. The current prom is AMUD which appears to be for a 1988 305 manual trans, but was told by a fleet mechanic friend of mine that it shouldn't make any difference (which I kind of question?!) It should be AYUC according to the "BBC" lookup data sheet (thanks by the way for this resource!). Also have a stock ASDU 1990_5.7_auto 4X4 bin which seems to be closer to the ASDX 88 C-K Truck 5.7TBI 5 speed manual bin (except for a couple of cells in the low rpm range) than the AMUD.

So, given that history, here is what I did and am about to try.

    1. Acquired 1.E6~OD~OE~31 VE Correction Table for TunerPro.xlsx 2.TunerPro XDF and ADX Look up 1-24-2012.xls 3.BCC lookup.xls
    2. Did a datalog (attached) with current AMUD bin (attached). (BLM's way to high generally, very high sometimes. see log)
    3. Checked fuel pump and filter. (Is pumping 13.5)
    4. About to swap stock chips, AMUD swapped for ASDU (attached and pending)
    5. New data log with ASDU (pending)
    6. Burn ASDX (attached) to new chip (pending)
    7. Modify ECM with zif socket (Moates setup)
    8. Swap modified ECM and insert ASDX (pending)
    9. Datalog ASDX (pending)
    10. Compare bins and start tuning

Does this seem to be a correct order, have I forgotten anything BIG?

Since I am a noob to all of this I will continue to post as I tune so hopefully others can have a simplified path to tunning.
