    Pin out for 7427

Does anyone have or have a link to 7427 pin out with $31 mask. The one on bin page is for $OD. I want to compare 6395 $OE TO 7427 $31.

I don't have the exact schematics I can post.

$E6 and $OD is for the 4L60E Transmission.

$OE and $31 are for the 4L80E Transmission.

The only differences that I remember in the schematics $E6 / $OD vs. $31 / $OE is the transmission, VSS, and DRAC wiring.

I posted some schematics on post 8 of this thread: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...-427-PMC-OE-31 that might help?

Thanks Dave. I went to the post but my old eyes just couldn't read it and if I made it big big I couldn't follow it so if you do run across them in an easier format it would be great.

My local library has AllData Online, which is an excellent source for schematics. It's $0.10 per page to print, free if I save to a USB Memory Device.

Thanks, I live on a small island so don't have a library but have a friend in another town who I think used to have alldata. I will get in touch with him.

    The posted schematics are for a 1994 C2500 5.7 liter / 4L80E

The schematics do not show the PCM part number.

Thanks Dave. I looked them over and the pin out is the same as the 6395 and I have used 5.7 OE and 31 with my 6395 7.4 so even though the pcm number wasn't there I am pretty sure with the right bin loaded I could stick the 7427 in place of the 6395 and vice versa.

All four versions of the TPI PCM (red / blue connectors) are interchangeable.

I plugged my chip, zif, g1 and memcal from my 6395 into the 7427 and everything works the same so as long as the two are pinned for the same transmission they are interchangeable.

The wire colors are the same, as is the pinout at the ECM. There are two wires swapped at the IAC connector for big block vs small block IAC. As long as you have the pig tail that you want to use, just match up the wire colors. You can also buy an adapter if you don't want to cut and splice wires.
