The stock pcm position is the only place it can go with the length of the stock harness and connectors. That position makes it hard to undo the connectors without damaging them and it makes a sharp fold in the apu1 ribbon cable. So question is anyone make a harness extension to use while tuning and if so where did you get the female connectors? I have an old harness with the male ends.

You can get the female connector off of a dead ECM, just desolder it from the board. Mouser might also carry them.

If you extend the APU1 too far you may need a socket amplifier. I remember reading about that on moates site for one particular model computer.
