hi all im ronald bakker from the netherlands
working on putting a jaguar aj6 4.0 engine intoo a 1977 chevrolet pickup
the engine will be bolted in front of a jaguar 4L80E

some data on the engine itself :
24-valve DOHC 4.0 L (3980 cc)
all aluminum block and head
91 mm (3.6 in) bore
102 mm (4.0 in) stroke
183 kW (249 PS; 245 hp)
392 Nm (289 lb·ft) of torque

it be an improvement over the stock 170 hp the stock cast iron GM inline 6 makes

the ecu will be a KdFi wish is simulair to a megasquirt 2 but better build and cheaper (when bought in europe at least )
the tcm is wat brought me to this forum m im looking intoo aftermarket ones and for wat those things do (compared to ecu's) there price is a bit high
i heared there where some experimentations going on using arduino boards and i done a google search and came across a topic on this website

bear with me i know a little about electric not a lot about electronics and nothing about programming
i do however love thinkering on stuff and cars in general
