TPI 305 - 700r4 swap into jeep question

    I'm helping a friend put a tpi 305-700r4 combo in his cj6.

    The computer he has is a 1227165 ( ANY - bin )

He wants to run in speed density as he doesn't have the MAF sensor. He also is getting rid off egr.

The only mod to the engine is a mild cam. Should we stick with this computer combo or upgrade to something different? If you think a upgrade would be better what would you guys recommend. It's not a super low buck build but he doesn't want to spend a ton of money upgrading the electronics.

    Just learned it's a turbo 350 transmission. Not a 700r4.

Does the ecu need a speed input for this swap?

With very minimal wiring changes you can run the Holden $12P calibration in a 1227165 and convert to MAP.
