    7730 ecu eeprom compatibility

    is the AT28c256-15pu compatible? if not does anyone have a list of what is?

    on thirdgen it has about 5 posts that even mention the at28c256 some of them say the 28c works but no one says I am using it and non of the posts are using the 7730 ecm so still not sure.

    if it works in any P4, it will work in a 7730. they're all clocked at 2.1MHz. when the P6 and P66 came around, then clock speeds started bumping higher, but you don't need to worry about that.

    quick addition: the -150 denotes 150nS response times, yes? I seem to remember reading 120nS was about as slow as you would want to go with a P4, but I can't find the source. 120nS is right around the 2^23(8.388Mhz) that the crystal runs at.

    I went ahead and went with SST 27sf512 I have the engine running now
