Easier than what?
What have you tried?
What are you using now, or planning to use?
The Auto Prom works great with Tuner Pro RT, and connects very easily, provided you use the correct files for the application you are connecting with.

i have a 288 with a 28 pin socket in my truck. his has a memcal looks like more in takeing it apart to get connected. I didn't know if they made an adapter to replace the memcal while tunning or what.
You can use a Moates G1 adapter with a ZIF socket. You'll need one when you burn the final chip anyway.
