    Apprentice? Mechanic

I started as an apprentice mechanic six years ago at a shop for domestic autos? Am I a mechanic now? Not in my mind when I look at how incredibly difficult some of this stuff is and all the things I don't know. Who is going to be smart enough to fix the cars that are being built today when they get out of warranty and start breaking down?

This week's headache is just identifying a throttle body injector. I'll post my question in the GM thread.

Congrats on this forum, though. I've already spent three hours trying to find the answer on google. I finally thought to just search for "fuel injector forum" and here I find new hope. Maybe we can get this figured out before I go back to work Monday. Thanks. JB

Welcome! You'll never learn it all no longer how long you turn wrenches. I was a helicopter mechanic for 22 years and there's still plenty of stuff that I don't know enough about them. We always preach to keep the book open even when you've done the task before.
