    VE tables and AFR

Will the volumetric efficiency change if the air fuel ratio changes? I am using race tuner software for a drag bike that records the run and suggests changes to the VE tables, after changes are made to the intake, exhaust, Valve timing, cams etc... So once a VE is established and no changes are made except to the air/fuel ratio. Will the actual VE be changed if I set the A/F ratio to a richer setting?

No, the VE tables basically tell the computer the amount of air intake at any operating condition. The computer uses that data and the AFR to figure out how much fuel to add to the air.

That makes sense. I think my tuner sets the AFR to 14.6 across the entire rpm range when record mode is active. I have some wide band o2 sensors ordered, maybe that will help it to collect more data. Do they make a inexpensive AFR sniffer or gauge?
