    Boat

    Has anyone every converted a carbureted boat to TBI? I have a 1983 VIP with a 2.5 Mercruiser engine. These seem to be based on a GM 2.5, I was thinking a trip to the junkyard might yield a single injector throttle body, harness, etc. Maybe control it with the 7427? Use an inline electric fuel pump and block off the mechanical. I saw where someone manufactures a kit similar to this, so it should be possible.
