    Replace 94 7.4 injectors

Looks like Dave has done it so just wanting confirmation. It appears earlier injectors, 5.7, 7.4 will fit in a 94/95 7.4 tbi. Maybe wiring connectors need to be changed?

The injectors only (early / late) are interchangeable, the injector pods (5.7 vs. 7.4) are NOT interchangeable. The wiring connectors are identical, early / late Throttle Bodies.

I thought you can mod the injectors pods to fit, the only difference is the diametre of the locating pin?

The big truck (366/427) TBI units have different style injectors/connectors.

I have had no issues interchanging 5.7, 7.4 and Marine injector pods.

SBC/BBC Injectors will interchange in the BBC pod , SBC/BBC Pods will also interchange .......

Only way the pods will not interchange is if the BBC pod is from an HD application (I.e, 366/427 TD) , some creativity is required here.

Injector connectors are the same for SBC and BBC injectors .

TPS connection could need attention depending on the year of the wiring harness going to the '94 BBC TBI unit , IAC will need attention if going from a SBC wiring harness to the BBC TBI unit as the connection is definitely different.

    What is the project ?
