A little late to the party on this one, but if you ever want to go back to MAF, we have the technology. Hmmm...sounds familiar...how about THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAF?
With a new MAF, connector and housing available from Blowerworks and a corresponding extended range tune, you'd be all set.
For turbo cars and blower cars, I like to extend both the flow and load range, and use load based PE fueling. This gives flexible fuel and spark control both in and out of boost. Easy enough to add in some open loop control of a 3-port boost control solenoid if desired.
Thanks for the info Tequilaboy I will keep this in mind, The $12p code is getting a little easier to work with so I am going to stay with it right now.
Have you had a drive yet
Will probably need some cranking fuel added in the cranking tables for cold conditions I'm nearly back in the land of the living so can give you some more help.what fuel ratio is green low 11's
Sorry for no updates for a while, I had to step away from the project for a while but I am ready to continue now.
The car starts good and idles well I have drove it some and it is rich. (very good for a boosted car) I'm about to install the intercooler and start tuning
nice to see you back into it
Update: The car is running very well, I have made several drag strip runs deep down into the 12s but it is eating parts now. First was the stock rear end then the transmission, I have pulled the boost back and have just been tweaking the tune and enjoying driving it. Still haven't installed the intercooler so I haven't been over 10PSI of boost yet.
