I looked at the data log. Attached is a screen shot of what I'm seeing.

There is not a parameter for gear ratio.

The .bin file I posted is based on both the information you posted, and my tuning experience.

Overall, it appears you have a good starter .bin file to work with.

    Enjoy,

After looking through the basics of the .bin and driving the truck I am getting a feel for what needs to be changed.
Im having some issues running rich.
I had the truck stall under load at a stop sign (possibly due to running rich).
Know where I can find a resource for getting advise on how to change spark and fuel parameters and diagnose?
Also what is ideal for injector bpw?
I was digging through the constants and saw the cylinder volume was set for a 350.
I have a 357 and was wondering if I should expect changes if this was altered.

(PS idle rpm in park and drive seems too low, I haven't made any changes yet).

Truck runs great other than needing tweaking.

Dave do you remember what injector setup was used on the bin? size/ pressure?

Did you set your initial timing to zero with the connector unplugged? I ask because your engine is idling around 60kpa manifold pressure which is high for your small cam. IAC is also pegged at 150 counts.

Look at the parameter RPM/VSS ratio to adjust for your gear ratio. There are instructions in the parameter comments.

I'm always challenged, am I a moderator or a business owner? As a moderator, I provided good information. As a business owner I've shared a .bin file that others paid $$$ for. Is it fair for me to say, run with the information I've provided and figure things out? Is it fair for me to say, send me a PM and lets figure out a business transaction?

In the game of chess, I say check ... your move.

    Dave,
It's fair enough to ask those questions.
    I didn't mean to mooch
    You've been more than helpful.
Didn't know you ran a business.

The only way to learn what others know is to ask questions.
Guess I forgot to ask the important one.
    Pm on the way
Glad we share a time zone.

Ps the question isn't if it is fair, it's When is it fair. ;)

Below are a couple links to help adjust the fuel tables.

    and

http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...D-31-OE-and-E6 I used a similar spreadsheet to crunch the data log in post #31.

I didn't think you were being a mooch!

I agree, when is it fair would be appropriate.

The fuel settings in the .bin file I posted were based the information you provided and my tuning experience. The fuel settings were not based on any specific injector / fuel pressure.

I figured you had set it up because I HAD done the math.
I figured 71 was more realistic than the math being 72.
I just didn't ask the question correctly.
I just was curious to if there was another (maybe better) way to reach the flow rate to fuel this motor (for the next one).

This will be my next attempt.
Deadline at work has me drained.
This was the parameter I remembered seeing.
    Thanks Roadknee

    Update:
    Re timed the engine,
    and changed cylinder volume
    Engine now runs lean

Do I factor in engine efficiency into cylinder volume?

Gonna be working with Dave on getting a chip so I can drive it without stalling.

Any body have a recommendation on upgrading my alternator.
Battery light is on under throttle.
Figured I'd upgrade since it needs replacement
