    454 with 6395 pcm

I have been installing, tuning and using megasquirt for about 5 years and have two vehicles with 454 and 4l80e. They have 6395 pcm. Have decided to have a go at working with the gm pcm. I have an order on the way from moates that should have all the items I need to work with the pcm. Now for my problem. One blew a head gasket so am in the process of fixing that and while I am at I am adding a little more cam ( 500 lift ) aluminum intake and short headers and bigger exhaust. My concern is the cam break in. Once started I don't want to shut down so thinking of adding a little fuel during open loop and after that blm should kick in. Would upping the cylinder volume in the constants do that? After the cam break in I would return the cylinder to normal and work with the VE tables. I suppose lowering the injector rating in the constants would serve the same purpose. My mind is thinking along megasquirt required fuel lines so let me know if that is way off.

I would lower the injector flow rating 2 lbs or maybe 3 lbs.

Good luck man, find yourself some good break in oil, use the shit out of that cam lube, and hope for the best. I was worried about this myself so I used it as an excuse to buy a roller cam :D lol
