For the time being, let's not Use or Talk about Open Office. Downloading Open Office might be a virus source? There are several links to download Open Office, which might have fine print in the downloading instruction to prevent unwanted toolbars from being installed. Maybe a good plan going forward is to uninstall Open Office?

Excel Is Not easy to use! Several years ago I paid for a few Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) classes at a local Community College, money well spent!

Attached are some tutorial screen shots.

What I do is open both the .csv file and open the Excel spreadsheet. I copy all the data log information from the .csv file, then paste the data log information into the Excel spreadsheet. At the bottom of the Excel spreadsheet are several tabs. One of the tabs is Insert Data log, which is where I paste the data log information from the .csv file. After pasting the .csv information, the Excel spreadsheet will "process" the data log and populate the other bottom tabs with information.

I'm wondering what version Excel are you using?

I'm using Excel 2007, which uses file extension .xlsx. Older versions of Excel have file extension .xls. The Excel spreadsheet I've shared is file extension .xlsx and won't work with older versions of Excel. The gearhead-efi.com file attachment system does not recognize .xlsx as a valid file. Using .zip to compress files reduces file size and allows a way to attach files not recognized by gearhead-efi.com.

To the best of my knowledge, the files I attached are valid.

I have an extremely busy schedule! I have a full time job, and a small business (Old School EFi) that limits my free time.

I think it might be a good plan to delete the previous Excel and Open Office files you have downloaded from gearhead-efi.com.

I'll reply to your PM, suggesting you share an email address I can directly email the Excel files to.
