    1227747 - A little Help Please :-)

    I have a few questions but I'll start with idle.

    I see IAC-Desired C/L Idle Speed table but that is only for in Drive.

    What controls the Desired C/L Park/Neutral Idle Speed.??

    I'm new to the old.. lol I've done plenty of tuning on the newer GM cars but not so much on the the older ones..

    Pot luck! There's no real setting, it's aaround there.... it's really a poor idle specific RPM ECM...

    I found this --> http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...pdated-12-4-00

    Has some pretty good info. I guess I'll just mess around and see what I can mess up ( I mean fix )

    Excellent article. You'll find the idle is always close to what is set too, but always a little off when not warm in gear.

    I see in your sig that you have or had the same PCM. I can't believe how slow the data stream rate is (about 1 time a second) compared to my friends 95 burban (like 10 datapoints a second)

    Its gonna make for some choppy data.

    Yes it does but it has never stopped me from a perfectly fine running tune.
