    Looking for 1mb L31 350"R" calibration

You may be familiar with the GMT800 trucks GM built for Mexico/South America with the 350. Looking for a stock GMT800 5.7 4L60E file for a 4.3 to 5.7 swap that is underway.

I have been looking for one of those for about 6 years. If you do find one, I would love to have a copy.

Maybe a VIN number is available for one of the export GMT800 trucks? I was thinking maybe Tuner Cats would then be able to sell a .cal file for the export GMT800 truck VIN?

I would be willing to split the cost if that is a possibility. What I have always wondered is---Do the exports use the 1mb PCM or the older 512kb PCM?????

I did some digging and I have been unable to find a GMT800 after 2002 with the L31 although I am fairly certain I have seen GM literature to their existance through 2004.

$7K would buy you a really nice looking 2002 GMT800 L31 to reverse engineer.

Since that is a 2002, it probably uses the 12200411 PCM and the same or very similar calibration to our Express Van. A 2004 Vortec 5.7 calibration is what I would like to have if it exists.

I'm wondering, why would using the 1 meg PCM be more desirable than using the '0411 512K PCM for a 5.7 liter SBC (assuming 24x CKP)?

    Flex Fuel?
    Processor Speed?
    RAM Size?
    Expanded Fuel & Spark Tables?
Better for "Boost" (supercharged / turbo charged)?
    Transmission Control?

I can't speak for Fast355 but, for me it would be something to play with. It would be neat to try and piece together a DBW, 4x engine. Then, maybe try the Flex Fuel deal.

Some of the newer marine intakes are coming with a LS 4-bolt flange on them and a fly by wire throttle.

I am trying to keep the V6 style 1mb PCM as I believe it runs the gauge cluster in a GMT800 truck.

If I go DBW it will be with a 58x setup and I will convert to a 6L80E. I think my Express would be a towing monster with the torque of a hopped up L31 5.7, a 4.x first gear and a 4.10 gear out back. If I use the newer PCM I will put a workhorse cluster in it too. Only has a speedo to 85 mph, but has a tach and a more modern GMT800 look.

I know this is a little old. But if you would still like this. And have access to a spare PCM and TIS2000. This Vin 3GBJC34R95M100001 should get you the export L31 bin file. It uses OSid 12592618.

    Hey Mike,
I would like the bin file as well. I will PM you my email address as well. Might come in handy some day soon, because I want to put a 383 L31 in an 03-04 4.3 RCSB truck.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Thank you very much for posting the above .bin file. It shows to be OS 12592618, which is shared with other 2005 GM vehicles.

Can I include the above .bin with the other library of 2005 .bin files gearhead-efi members have shared here? http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...rPro-Bin-Files

Thank you for obtaining a copy of a bin for these trucks. I knew that they existed. On a side note that .bin is for a 5.7/Manual transmission and it is also without EGR.
