    what is car doing I know you see knock on scanner but what is drivability issue? if it has no codes honestly I think you are trying to fix something that is not broke are you looking at counts or actual knock because counts is checks

    it is retarding timming and burning more fuel an when it knocks that way I cant do any tunning I am addicted to playing with this truck. it is valve train, piston, or bearings worn out causing the knock. what is suprising to me is the right side sensor will pick up knock255*4 in10 miles it screws into the back of the head,unplug it plug the left side in no knocks except when you shut off the engine 13 knocks. left side screws into the water jacket on the left head ,all I can figre out is the knocks meghrts wont travel trough the water. both sensors around 8k ohms unplugged 1 at a time and data loged.[[[ taking donations for a engine with a mild cam ]]]

    what year is a good 350 vortec that would be a easy swap with my 1991 4.3?

    been playing with my truck off an on at work today it's worn out, facing down hill [small hill ] the trans even rattles. coming home it pick up 1 knock with the left head water jacket sensor hooked up, give me hope I can still tune till it expires. going to increase hy spark till it is a constant knock then back it off 3.
