    350sbc or 6.0LQ4 options

So I got two options to go here sell my spare disassembled 6.0 long block so I can buy a vortec 350 and rebuild it for 400hp or rebuild the 6.0 add a distributor conversion kit and modify a new Ford distributor to work on the TBI harness and modify my tune for mpfi and have something unique with more HP and room to grow.

Why not stay with the EFI that came with the LQ4?

The 6.0 has a higher resale value.

The SBC is very low cost.

The 6.0 will out perform the SBC.

Which do you like, low cost or performance?

Cause I don't have a harness at the moment for it and it would require me to get a new harness, computer, rewire the truck, plus getting a HP tuners license to work it and remove the vats.

I know the 6.0 has high performance, I was gonna use it for a TT 408 build on my Camaro before tuiton rose and they took my scholarships.
I've been looking here and found a thread on how to modify any distributor to work on the 7427 harness so I'm starting to lean more and more to that option since parts to build the 6.0 would just be $40-80 more than the 350 but with much better performance if I can just find a cheap set of gaskets.

All valid reasons, and there is a bit of expense involved either way. In the long run, I'd think you'd probably be much happier with the reliability, power and potential of the LQ4 with the factory injection setup. The LS stuff is getting more common and that's starting to drive prices down.

I was thinking of getting a ford distributor and modify it to work with the top section of a tbi distributor and do the tbi to mpfi mod on the computer since I was gonna do it anyways. I just finally got an answer with a friend building a 408 for is Trans am and with discounts at various ls stores so he is gonna try to help me get good prices on the parts. Well it seems I'll have a 7427 ecm controlled lq4
