Another newcomer

Hi everyone, I just found this website when I was researching a problem with the DRAC/VSSB for my 93 Silverado K3500, 7.4L, 480LE 4WD. I still have speedometer function but trans seems stuck in 2nd I think. I pulled the pan to change the trans filter and see if there was any junk in there but it was all clean. I wiggled the harness and after I buttoned it up the truck drove fine for about a week then the problem reoccurred.

I live in southern Idaho and this has been my pull the car trailer/winter daily driver, I only have about 139,000 miles on it.

'stuck in second' is a 'limp' failure mode in many transmission controllers, not sure if it is in yours or not
