Questions regarding TBI to TPI conversion

So I looked on some thread and got the information to convert my 95tbi setup into a tpi by modifications to the tune and ecm but it doesn't say anything about wiring changes to wire the 8 injectors, the TPS, and idle sensor?

actually not a lot of work required it would seem, instead of two tbi injectors you just have two banks of injectors. you can splice into the original harness and have tons of length to do it too, since the tbi injectors run all the way to the middle of the intake. original power wire should be good to go too.

im pretty sure the tpi and tbi's tps wiring is the same, but im not sure about the iac?

Alright so I just wire a harness that runs 4 injectors in parallel and connect each harness to the tbi injector harness.

Yep, pretty easy. I got all the injector pigtails from my local pull a part junkyard. I just wired them all together and hooked all the injectors on the right, the the old tbi injector wires on the right, and did the same for the left.
Now there is a couple of internal mods you need to do to the PCM and memcal, as well as the bin. But it works.
    I am running a MPFI system with a 16197427.

Okay cause I was thinking on getting a mpfi manifold for sbc and just get a friend weld me up a throttle elbow to mount a tpi throttle on it since that would work better with a junkyard turbo build for easy 400hp with a lil room to grow later.

If you re-pin... get a Delphi Terminal crimper. It makes a huge difference!

    I found one at Amazon-
    http://www.amazon.com/GM-Delphi-Weat...+terminal+tool

When I repinned my crossfire harness to accept a later model GM ECM, I also found it helpful to have the diagrams that showed each ECM terminal (old, new) as well as a custom diagram that I made that showed where the wires were coming from and where they were going to. I used an Excell sheet to show the location and the colors of the wires accordingly.

Would it be possible to wire 8 injectors then in theory on each side if the engine requires greater fuel demand. I'm not talking about 1000+hp just lets say 500-600 but with lower flow injectors due to the wow factor of the 8 injectors per bank.

You would have to add some kind of external injector driver to the system to prevent the injector drivers in the PCM from burning up from the higher current draw.

I see, I guess I'll just stick to the 8 injectors and some LS9 injectors.
