    Question flashing modified .bins?

Hey all, I lurk here a lot, (don't post much cause i seldom have anything relevant to add) i apologize if this is in the wrong place. I just got offered a great deal (less than $500) on a used snap on pass thru pro, i would rather have the cardaq plus, but for the price........
the shop i work in is fairly small (two techs) so seldom will be doing any flashing at work, I guess my question is whether the pass thru/cardaq can flash modified files or if it is stuck with OEM files? (gonna buy it one way or the other, cause i do have the opportunity to do some flashing at work. but if i could use it on my toys then even better)

As long as the pcm is not 'locked" or the "seed" file has not been altered, you should be able to flash modifed bins. Most controllers will have you save them as a .cal (tunercat) or .tun (EFIlive) and then you have the option to lock them with a special password to keep anyone else from altering them. This has been my experience with these two programmers.
