Positive shifts are great, and that's how I build all but my grandma car trannies. Less slipping the better, but granny don't like to bounce her head off the headrest so...

    Bringing old thread back.

    I was looking at some shift time tables on various lt1 application and it is really not making sense.

    On f and y bodies the shift time is alomst the same but on b and d bodies is vastly different.

    Is there something I am missing because 6 seconds seem way too much. Or some other tables related to this one that is set opposite.

    What is the general consensus to set these on f-bodies.
