    2732a Chip Reader Adapter

I had some left over parts after updating a '7747 ECM to a zif socket. I reassembled the factory 2732a chip socket to make an adapter socket, so I don't have to remove the factory chip from the chip holder. I then installed the old chip socket / holder into a 24 pin dip socket. The parts are "Snap Assembled" so it's easy "Unsnap" the adapter when handling. No more bent / broken pins reading a 2732a chip!

    Here are the pics.

I too have made the exact same thing. It was kinda a pain to do, but to me it was worth it in the end.
