    hows it going

    well I guess ill start with a simple question. how do you keep track of the changes you make to a bin? im working on three different vehicles and having a hard time keeping then straight. I guess that's what I get for saying I have the stuff to do it. lol

    seperate folders tends to work for me. enabling the tunerpro changelog function is also helpful.

    Well, start with naming each bin differently - like -Joes-Truck- V1, V2 etc. Then keep a notebook with what you change in each version. I use the assembly source, and comment each change there, but that requires knowledge of assembly and how to assemble motorola code into a bin.

    TunerPro RT will do it for you, but it's still best to have the title of bin and version change at end. This is how I do it. Then there's also compare and difference tool in TunerPro that will show you change from V1.bin to V1.1.bin

    agree, the bin compare tool is about as good as it gets.

    you can load up 4 different compare bins and flip between them in the drop-down boxes. you can also click parameters right in the list and it'll take you there.

    if you compare two bins which were written on totally different bases (code patches from GM or whatever, or even just totally different masks) it's instantly apparent too, because of a bunch of 'unknown' differences

    then if you want to compare an entire table graphically or whatever, you're right there, just enable wireframe mode.
