    L29 1996–1999 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 crank trigger

    hey guys got a mate with the mpfi 454 vortech in an impala and hes converted to an aftermarket ecu and is having trouble with some cylinders not heating the header pipes at all.it has spark and compression on each cylinder and seems to run ok but idles rough and is glowing the cats and has blown out some of the insides of one LOL.is the 4 tooth crank trigger using the rising edge or falling edge stock

    Sounds like it's running same as my Toyota project... until you told me to swap crank sensor wires and it ran perfectly. Sorry, don't have the correct answer for you.

    Those engines were known for having injector issues. For one, they clog. two, they were too small for the 454.

    turned out the rotor was out of phase all along LOL now running 411 ls1 ecu
