Now also with the cam grind am i correct by thinking the cam has to be ground down to fit in the 305 block? I was looking for a Crane 272 and it came up with results for a big block.

Alright So I had a 350 bored 20 dropped in with hyper flat top 4 brow pistons, and Edelbrock performer intake, roller tip rockers. I got the aldl cable and downloaded TunerPro but its not connecting to my truck. It keeps saying not ready. Not sure if I need to do something different or need something for Tuner Pro to work off. any advice would be helpful. Im going to reread the forum again but definitely could use some help. Oh and the cam they put in is just an RV cam till I figure this tuning stuff out more so its 280* 295* @ 420* 446* 204/214 duration

follow the tutorial for tunerpro and you will need to download at least 2 files and maybe 3. these files depend on what computer you have. use tunerpro xl cause then you can log data for a custom tune.
