First DATA LOG with ASDU3 bin

Wanted to share my first data log using the ASDU3 bin that I got off of an awesome thread by EagelMark

    http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...-data-Tutorial!

I think I have plenty of room for more improvement. I am going to continue to follow the thread and enter my data into the spreadsheets provided and get her running fuel efficient.

    Awesome Site!!!

you might have a problem with your iac counts, it could be my pc not showing your log right. I would put the bpw an spark advance hack on your next bin you burn.

ALDL Mode is enabled which means you have the 10k switch on. Log is no good like that. This ECM does not need the 10k switch.

how does one turn disable the ALDL mode? I followed the list of items to turn off per the ASDU3 bin.

Would it be the SA-ALDL/closed loop spark? Do I need to zero it out

Just do not use the 10k switch or jumper on your ALDL cable.

of course...rookie mistake. couldn't see the forest for them blasted trees in the way.

What does it do to your data log when you leave the switch on? Obviously you caught it at first glance and seen something that stood out.

It says Enabled ALDL Mode in data log! But it does a few things like raise idle, increase spark, disables CL timers etc...

ALDL mode or Special mode (10K ohm resistance):
In this mode, all information incorporated into a specific engine and ECM is obtainable. However, in this mode the system operating characteristics are modified as follows:
    Closed loop timers are bypassed
EST (spark retard, if used) is disabled
On some engines, canister purge will be enabled
P/N restrict functions will be disabled.
