    Help with BAWP.bin or AURS.bin

    I have a '94 4.3L cpi manual trans using a 16156647 ECM, I have run both AURS and BAWP stock memcals but when loading the individual bins to a 27SF512 chip via autoprom, the engine runs but not nearly as well as with the memcal. I get code 41 with the burned chips but not with the memcal. Is there a process i am missing? I have also tried 64k bins for the 4.3l cpi engine but cannot get the engine to start with them. Any help would be appreciated.

    I've not worked with a 16156647 ECM. I did an online search ... 16156647 uses a 32K chip. http://www.exatorq.com/ludis_obd1/p4xref.html#16156647. If this is correct, the 27SF512 chip needs to flashed with an address offset.

    http://support.moates.net/programmin...using-offsets/

    32k (32768)
    27SF512
    Buffer Start address - 000000 -> 007FFF - Buffer End address
    Chip Start address - 008000 -> 00FFFF - Chip End address

    Thanks that is the offset I used, it turned out to be a problem with the knock board on the g1 adapter. It had come loose when I installed it into the ECM. I'm just glad i had found this soon it could have been a huge pain.
