I've got two Heathkit automotive oscilloscopes here. Fast to set up and easy to use. Fun, too, to watch the young-uns worry about the warm glow inside the unit.
Finally tried this tester out. It showed idle running about 14.2 on the scale, which is in the green area that is noted "ECS Idle".
I have no idea of the accuracy of this particular unit though, but it looks like it is correct.
