    Came here for info...

...and it looks like I might be sticking around a while

My name is Brad, and I live in Mustang, Oklahoma. I've been messing with GM PCM tuning and swapping for about 6 years now. My first project was running a Series 1 L67 (supercharged 3800) under OBD2 for tuning capabilities through HP Tuners. Ran like a scalded dog for a while, then I got tired of it and scrapped the project. Next came along my last project, a '97 Bonneville SSE. Out came the 160k mile powertrain, and in went a 3,000 mile L26 and a reworked 4T65e w/3.29 gearing from an '06 Grand Prix, all being run by a 2005 Impala PCM flashed with a 2003 Grand Prix OS. Still have the car, and runs strong since completing the project 2 years ago.

Now comes the crown jewel...I'm building up a '94 Camaro Z28 convertible that I got w/o the engine, trans, or computer. I'm sticking with the LT1, but I'm putting in a 4L60e from an '02 Firebird (need to change the bellhousing), and will be run by the "0411" PCM. Right now I am working out what I want to do ignition-wise, but I REFUSE to run Optispark. I'll post more on this subject in the proper forum.

    Anyways, hi!

I've been working on a crank trigger for the '0411 / SBC hybrid.

I think a few posts are missing from the old board.

I think Wes Burch of Weswood Performance ( http://www.weswoodperformance.com ) has designed an electronic interface for the '0411 PCM to work with the OptiSpark.
