    I'm thinking early birthday present to myself, but I should probably spend the $$$ on that spare transmission.

    Moates site doesn't specify, but the Ostrich 2 will work with the 1228062? I can't think of any reason it should not if it's sole purpose is to emulate the eprom.

    It will, but likely requires the socket booster. I know the '7747 needs it, and the '7148, which both used the 24 pin EPROM. It seems that the 24 pin EPROM ECMs require the socket booster for reliable emulation.
